Adventure up North!

While we continue to work on Wheel 2 Wheel, I have a little end of year surprise.

This year, I fell in love with Cairn, a wonderful OSR game about exploring an forest. It is a simple game, yet with depth for exploration, inventory, and some other brilliant ideas. Cairn really matches my own philosophy of design - offering accessible depth that can give you a grand adventure without a grand commitment. Of course, as the game is about wandering dark Woodlands, I bet you can guess what is coming.

I am proud to present Tall Tales of the Northwoods, a OSR supplement for Cairn.

What was suppose to start as a simple Beastiary kept going and going….and now includes:

• 10 Monsters - From Hodags to Blue Ox to the Nain Rouge, all inspired by the Upper Midwest

• A Point Map of the Northwoods - Cities, mines, and lumber camps to explore with your party.

• 3 Adventures - Side quests tying back to the monsters and myths of the Northwoods.

Like most of our documents and in the spirit of Cairn, Tall Tales is available as “Pay What you Want” on DTRPG and ITCH.IO. I also have started sharing more RPG stuff on the Discord. Happy Holidays and Happy Gaming!
