Our Story
Games for everyone, everywhere.
My name is Scott and I like games. From RPGs to video games, cribbage to hockey, I think that friendly competition is crucial to humanity.
I was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Minnesota, and now live in Michigan. I've spent my life on the shores of the Great Lakes and was shaped by the many fantastic places and people who call them home.
So I design games! Often heavily influenced by life in the Midwest (Top LinebHockey and Cider Cider), or by my other interests (Exploits or The Show Must Go On!). I design the games I want to play and have been focusing more on pencil-and-dice games and occasionally on card games.
I occasionally design with other people, such as my sister, Kellie Wambold, a writer and actress, and Lynn Jarvi, who illustrated Top Line Hockey.
My goal with my games is 3-fold:
Games that are fun but accessible, which includes low cost
Games that offer a new perspective
Games that bring people together
That’s why it’s a Library! We want to have games that are easy to get a hold of and let you learn something new about your friends, yourself, or your world. Like a lot of gamers my age, I know time and budget are limited, and I try to provide experiences that can be flexible, whether you want a short escape or a grand adventure.
